It’s a hip-shake party, for those in the know.”

Friends Wronguns Countrymen – This Friday!
April 5, 2012

This Friday sees the return of one of our favourite monthly nights. Last month’s event was more like a giant house party than a clubnight! Table dancing was compulsory and I saw one unfortunate fellow fall over he was so excited! This month expect more of the same. Here is some more information about the night;

Presented by Adam P. Gorman of The Travelling Band, A trawl through the 70s undergrowth that you can bounce your balls to. With no specific genre in mind there’ll be everything from pop wall-shakers to the depths of exotic obscruity. From Sly and the Family Stone, Bowie and The Flying Burrito Brothers to Abba, Zeppelin and Petty. From Disco Funk to Fuzz-rock to Country-psych, the only rule is that it’ll be beamed straight from the 70s and into the Salutation on the first Friday of every month..

Let’s get wrong!

Quizitation – Tuesday 3rd April
